Naming our rescue was not a hard decision. "Precious," (a sable Collie) was Cathy's first dog and "Secret," (an All-American) was Pam's first dog. Whenever either of us formerly named one of our dogs, we used Precious or Secret in their registered names. So, in memory of all of our own dogs, we agreed on Precious Secrets Sheltie Rescue.
We pride ourselves on taking in any Sheltie in need. Whether homeless, injured, sick, young or old, etc., they have a place at PSSR. This is only possible because of our great supporters. Without each and every person, we could not continue. Somehow we have survived the ten Morrow County puppy mill cases, the quick decision to save Oreo's life, the amputation of Bear's leg and the hundreds of other homeless stories. We wonder what lies ahead of us....
